Note: Multi-language support is available in Bold Upsell 2.0 only. This feature is not available in Bold Upsell Legacy.

How it works
Admin language
The Bold Upsell admin displays in the language that matches your Shopify account locale. This is detected automatically - no configuration is needed.
Storefront offers
When a customer visits your store, upsell offers are displayed in the language that matches their locale. This works automatically for all locales that exist on your storefront. No additional setup is required.
Updating translated offer content
Bold Upsell automatically generates default translations for all existing locales on your storefront when an offer is created. If you want to review or update the translated content for any locale, you can do this within the offer settings.
To update translated content for an offer:
In the Bold Upsell admin, open the offer you want to edit.
Navigate to the Style tab.
Scroll to the Customize the language defaults section.
Select the locale you want to update and make your changes.
Save the offer.
Important considerations
Translations are generated automatically for all locales already active on your storefront. If you add a new locale to your storefront after an offer is created, check the offer's language settings to confirm translations have been applied.
Default translations can be edited at any time within the offer settings of any manual offer.
Multi-language support is available for Smart offers. However, smart offers will generate and test all text for you so there are no defaults to translate.
If you do not have locales set up within your Shopify store, you will not see default translations available. Default translations will only appear in the offer settings when there is an availabe locale set up on your Shopify store for one of the supported languages.
