Returns Manager has a number of automatic email notifications that you can enable to keep your customers in the loop regarding their return request, and actions that may affect them.
You can find all our available email notification in the app admin, under Settings > General Settings.
In this area of the app, you get to choose which email address is to be the 'From Email' when we trigger emails to your customers. If a customer replies back to the email, their replies will go to this email.
Adding our SPF record to your DNS
Certain email providers may direct a higher number of emails to a customer's spam box, or may not even send them to the customer at all.
To improve our app's email deliverability, it may be necessary to add our Sender Policy Framework (SPF) record to your existing DNS (Domain Name Service). Adding our Bold Apps' SPF record to your DNS should improve this, and allow customer's to receive automated emails from our app more reliably.
An SPF record is a type of DNS record that identifies which mail servers are permitted to send email on behalf of your domain. The purpose of an SPF record is to detect and prevent spammers from sending messages with forged 'From' addresses on your domain.
NOTE: This process will be different for the various email providers, but instructions should be easily found through your hosting support or email service help articles. :-)
