Add to Existing Subscriptions Button isn't Showing

For customers (who are signed in) that have an active subscription, they should see an "Add to Existing Subscription" button near the "Add to Cart" button, which allows them to add a new item to their existing subscription.

If the button isn't showing up, follow these steps to fix it:

  1. From "Shopify Admin", select Online Store.

    Select Online Store 

  2. Select ...

  3. Select Edit HTML / CSS.

  4. Under "Templates", select product.liquid.

    Note: If your theme contains sections you may need to open product-template.liquid under "Sections" instead.

    select product.liquid 

  5. Find The add to cart input: <input id="addToCart" class="btn" name="add" type="submit" value="add to cart"/> and add the class: class="{{ bold_add_to_cart_class }}" if there's no class, you'll need to create one.

    Your code should look something like this:

    <input class="btn {{ bold_add_to_cart_class }}" name="add" type="submit" value="add to cart"/>

    find the add to cart button 

  6. Below this code add:
    <!-- bold-ro-liquid --> <div class="bold_add_to_orders" style="display: inline-block;"> </div> <!-- bold-ro-liquid -->

    add code 

  7. Select Save.

    select save
