If you don't use the fixed shipping rate feature, Bold Subscriptions will automatically apply your Shopify shipping rates to the subscriptions checkout. When a subscriber makes changes to their subscription, it will have them confirm or choose a new shipping rate. If a new shipping rate is not necessary, they will receive a notification indicating this.
In Subscriptions, you can select a default shipping rate, which will go into effect if a subscriber does not sign in and choose a new shipping rate.
You can adjust this by following these steps:
- From Shopify's admin, select Apps.
- Select Recurring Orders & Subscriptions by Bold.
- Select Settings, then General.
- Scroll down to "Shopify Shipping Rates" and select Select the cheapest shipping rate or Select the closest shipping rate.
Note: Select the closest shipping rate means the rate closest to what they were paying before using the same shipping provider.
- Select Save.
