If you don’t use the fixed shipping rate feature, Recurring Orders will automatically apply your Shopify shipping rates to the recurring checkout. When a subscriber makes changes to their subscription, it will have them confirm or choose a new shipping rate. If a new shipping rate is not necessary, they will receive a notification indicating this.
In Recurring Orders you can select a default shipping rate, which will go into effect If a subscriber does not sign in and choose a new shipping rate.
You can adjust this by following these steps:
- From "Shopify Admin", select Apps.
- Select Recurring Orders & Subscriptions by Bold.
- Select Settings.
- Select General.
- Scroll down to Shopify Shipping Rates. and select Select the cheapest shipping rate or Select the closest shipping rate.
Note: Select the closest shipping rate means the rate closest to what they were paying before using the same shipping provider.
- Select Save.
