Caution
Multi-Currency can only display currencies on your storefront and does not have the ability to convert currencies in Shopify's checkout by itself. If you have a grandfathered plan for Bold Cashier installed on your store, you can offer currency conversions on the checkout page.
Please visit Cashier & Multi-Currency Integration for more information on setting up this integration.
For Multi-Currency to display a specific currency on your store, it must first be added into the app.
To add a currency in Multi-Currency, please follow these steps:
- From Shopify's admin, select Apps.
- Select Multi-Currency.
- Select Add Currency.
- Under "Search for a currency", enter the currency you would like to add.
- Select the New Currency from the drop-down list.
- Select Use this currency as my store's default to make this your store's default currency (optional).
Note: Your default currency in the app should match your store's currency.
- Select Add Currency.
-
Select the Toggle to enable it.
Note: The toggle will be green when the currency is enabled and gray when it is disabled.
That's it!
