This customization involves changing your DNS settings if you aren't comfortable with this, please do not attempt it. You can request this customization by submitting a support request. If you modify the URL, the field becomes locked and you will need to contact Support for further changes.
To set up a custom checkout hostname in Bold Cashier, follow these steps:
- From "Shopify Admin", select Apps.
- Select Bold Cashier.
- Select SETTINGS.
- Select General Settings.
Select the "Your custom checkout hostname will be disabled" Toggle to enable it.
Note: The toggle will be green when enabled and gray when disabled.
Enter the Custom Checkout Hostname.
Note: Changing your website DNS settings could result in lost access to your main store, email, etc. If you're not comfortable managing DNS settings, please avoid using this feature, or submit a request and we'll help you get set up.
- Select Save Hostname.
Note: You will need to go into your DNS settings and set up a CNAME for the hostname pointing at the target we provided.
