Create a Return Status

Return Statuses allow you to communicate with your customers through automated emails. When you change the status of a customer's return, you can send them an email that informs of where you're at in the return process.

To create a return status, please follow these steps:

  1. From Shopify's admin, select Apps.

  2. Select Returns Manager by Bold.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Select Status Settings.

  5. Select Create a new status.

  6. Enter a Status Name.

  7. Enter the email information and contents or select Check if no email is needed for this status.

  8. Select Save.
