Import Customers into Loyalty Points

Bold Loyalty Points allows you import existing customers from another loyalty app, into Bold Loyalty Points.

To maintain the accuracy of the information received and processed by the app, it's important to specify the column headings within the CSV file. Point balances and tags (which will be assigned to imported customers) can also be included in the file.


When customers are imported, the app will automatically generate Shopify customer accounts for the customers who have not yet been registered as a Shopify customer. An email with a link to activate their account will be sent to each individual customer that's generated.


At this time, version 1 of Bold Loyalty Points is unavailable for new installations. If you are currently using version 1 of Bold Loyalty Points, you will be able to continue using the app as your account will now be grandfathered.




  1. From the Shopify Admin, select Apps.
  2. Select Loyalty Points by Bold.
  3. Select Customers.

  5. Select the Customer Migration options.

  6. Select Choose File and use the file manager to select the import CSV.
