Create an Upsell Offer

To create an upsell offer with Product Upsell, follow these steps:

  1. From "Shopify Admin", select Apps.

    Select Apps 

  2. Select Product Upsell.

    Select Product Upsell 

  3. Select Offers.


  4. Select Create Upsell Offer.

  5. Enter an Upsell Name.

  6. Under "Select trigger products", select Select Products.

  7. Select ADD next to any product(s).

  8. Select Continue with selected products.

  9. Select Set a date range for the offer to be available (optional).

    Note: This will make the offer available only during a set date range.

  10. Scroll down to "Pop-up window options" and enter a Window Title.

  11. Enter a Window Description.

  12. Select Select Products.

  13. Select ADD next to any product.

  14. Select Continue with selected products.

  15. Under "Advanced Options":
    • Select Only display the additional cost of the replacement product if you would like to display the cost to upgrade.
    • Select Match quantity of upsold products to ensure the number of upsold products is the same as the number of products the customer initially chose.
    • Select Hide products that are out of stock (i.e. don't allow backorders) if you would like out of stock products to be discluded from the upsell offers.

  16. Select Save Upsell Offer.
