Can I link two stores to one QuickBooks Online account?

It is highly recommended using Shopify order prefixes if you are trying to connect multiple Shopify stores to 1 QuickBooks Online account.

IE. KAR1001, KAR1002, KAR1003, etc.

Overview

Bold's QuickBooks Integrations app is unable to be connected to multiple Shopify stores at the same time. Authenticating a second Shopify store to a Quickbooks Online account will cause the first Shopify store to become disconnected.

In order to utilize one Quickbooks integration app between two Shopify stores, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Connect the first Shopify store, then run the desired export.
  2. Once this export is completed, disconnect the app from the Shopify store.
  3. Connect the second Shopify store, then run the desired export.
  4. Once this export is completed, disconnect the app from the Shopify store.

With this method, the app will constantly have to be disconnected/reconnected for your use.

This is the only way to have two separate stores connected to Bold's QuickBooks Integration app on Shopify.

 


 

Limitations

  • While using this method of having two stores connected to the same Quickbooks integration, your stores will lose the functionality for auto exports for all stores. If you require this functionality, only one store can be connected at a time.
  • SKU's, and order number sequences will have to be unique across all stores.
  • You will need the Quickbooks integration app installed on each store.
