Some of our apps require liquid code to be added to the theme files in order for the designed functionality to work. We do provide the instructions for each app within our support site; however, many shop owners choose to leave it with us to install the code. Within the app, you can request our team install the liquid code for you.
As part of our expert install service, our team will:
- Create a backup of your requested theme.
- Make all the necessary coding adjustments to your theme.
- Perform tests and verify that the features of the app are working correctly on the site.
- Follow-up with you once testing is complete.
- Be there to answer any questions you may have after the installation.
The steps for making this request can vary slightly, depending on the app; but should be similar to these.
Note: A free install can be requested for all apps with the exception of these three:
- Product Discount - $10 fee per feature (i.e. Sales Clock - $10, Sales Icon - $10, Duplicate & Hide feature to use with Product Upsell - $10).
- Product Builder - one-time fee of $40.
- Sales Motivator - one-time fee of $10.
To request a liquid install, follow these steps:
- From Shopify's Admin, select Apps.
- Select Customer Pricing (Wholesale & VIP Pricing).
- Select Help, then Liquid Installation.
- Select Install Support: This creates a ticket request with our installations team. All of these requests are completed manually on a rotational basis. You will be asked to confirm which theme you would like this coding to be installed on after selecting this option.
Note: The turnaround time for install requests performed by our team is 2-4 business days.
The install team will need access to the store admin to be able to access the theme's files to install the app's code. Visit Create a Staff Account for detailed instructions.
Install requests are processed in the order received. If we have a staff account with the required permission, most installs are completed within 2 to 4 business days but may take longer depending on how many install requests we have and the complexity of the installation. An email will be sent to you when the install is complete or if additional information is needed. A status message is also displayed within the app.
We do not offer a faster install service. Requests are generally completed in the order received, but let us know and we may be able to help.
