Offer a Trial Period with Bold Memberships


Bold Memberships gives you the ability to create membership plans, and you can include a trial period with them as well. This gives customers a chance to try out your membership before committing, and encourages them to sign up.

To give a trial membership for one of your plans, please follow these steps:

  1. From Shopify's admin, select Apps.

    Select the Apps option on the left-hand side of your Shopify admin

  2. Select Recurring Memberships.

    Select Recurring Memberships from your list of apps

  3. Select Plans.

    From the top navigation bar, select Plans

  4. Select Settings (the gear icon) next to the plan to give a trial membership.

    On the far-right side of the plan you want to add a trial period to, select the gear icon (under Actions)

  5. Select Edit.

    From the dropdown menu, select Edit (fifth one down)

  6. Select Enable Trial?

    Within Step 1, underneath the Edit Access Denied Message buttonm select the Enable Trial checkbox

  7. Enter the Trial Length.

    Underneath the checkbox, enter in the trial's length in days

  8. Select Save.

    In the top-right, select Save
