Setup

 Alert

If you make any changes to your Membership plan after publishing the buy button, you will need to go through these steps again. Otherwise, customers will see the old plan information.

To add the Bold Memberships buy button to a page, please follow these steps:

  1. Add a new webpage to your online store (links to Shopify) for your buy button (optional).
  2. From Shopify's admin, select Apps.
  3. Select Recurring Memberships.
  4. Select Plans.

From the top navigation bar, select Plans

  5. Select Settings (the gear icon) next to membership plan you want to add to a page then Get Buy Button.

Note: The widget will show the signup form on a page, the customer will fill it out and hit the button to buy the membership. The buy button will display a button on the page.

Within the Settings dropdown menu, select Get Buy Button (second one from the top)
  6. Choose a billing option to generate a button for.

In the pop-up window, select a billing cycle option that the button will be for (example: monthly, if you have set that option for your membership plan)

  7. Enter a Button label.

Note: This is the text that will be displayed on your buy button.

Undearneath the billing dropdown menu, use the textbox to enter a label for the button - this will appear to customers on the page so they know what action to take with the button

  8. Select the code, right-click and select copy.

Copy the code in the box below

  9. Select Close.

In the bottom-right corner, select Close to exit the window

  10. Paste this code into the page you created in Step 1 (or your desired page).

Note: Don't forget to switch the WYSIWYG mode to HTML before pasting in the code.

Navigate to your Pages, and select the page you want the code to be placed on. In the far-right of the page editor, select the WYSIWYG source code button to change to the code mode, and paste the code you copied into the textbox

  11. Select Save.

 Example

Here's an example of how that looks:

Picture shows a page on a store that says Memberships, with a black button underneath that says Buy Membership

After clicking on the buy button, your sign-up form will appear:

Picture shows a registration form with the title Beginner Bootcamp - $9.99 CAD Weekly, form fields, and an option in the bottom-right to pay with card
