Step 1: Connect ReferralCandy to Recurring Orders

ReferralCandy is a rewards program you can integrate with Recurring Orders check out. You can recruit advocates for your store and provide them with a unique link they can send out to whoever they like. If someone purchases on your store, using this link, they will earn rewards through ReferralCandy.

To use ReferralCandy with Recurring Orders, you must contact ReferralCandy's support team first - as they have to adjust your account type to be compatible with our integration.

Email with the following information:

1. Email address used for their Shopify account
2. myshopify URL
3. Let them know you want to integrate Recurring Orders by Bold and ReferralCandy.

Once they receive your email, they should be able to setup your account within one business day.

To connect ReferralCandy to Recurring Orders, follow these steps:

  1. Sign up for ReferralCandy.
  2. Log into ReferralCandy.
  3. Select your Username (Email Address).
  4. Select Admin Settings.
  5. Scroll down the page and record this information:
    • API Access ID
    • API Secret Key
    • App ID
  6. In "Shopify Admin", select Apps.
  7. Select Recurring Orders & Subscriptions by Bold.
  8. Select Settings.

  10. Select the Referral Candy tab.

  11. Enter the API Access ID.

  12. Enter the API Secret Key.

  13. Enter the App ID.

  14. Select Save.

  15. Select Settings.

  17. Scroll down to "Customers Can Change Their Discount Codes", select Enable.
