Connect your Stripe Account to Bold Memberships


Before customers can purchase memberships, you need to connect to a payment gateway. Bold Memberships integrates with Stripe to allow your customers to check out using their credit card.

Note: Stripe charges a 1% transaction fee on top of any fees you may incur for using their payment gateway.

To add a payment gateway, please follow these steps:

  1. From Shopify's admin, select Apps.

    Select the Apps option on the left-hand side of your Shopify admin

  2. Select Recurring Memberships.

    Select Recurring Memberships from your list of apps

  3. Select Settings.

    From the top navigation bar, select Settings

  4. Select General Settings.

    On the left-hand side, select General Settings

  5. Select Connect Stripe Account:

    Under General Settings, select Connect Stripe Account

    1. Select Sign in with Stripe to connect.

      Select Connect Stripe Account, then select Sign in with Stripe to connect, on the right-hand side

    2. Enter your Email and Password and select Sign in to your account.

      Enter in your email and password, then sign in

    3. Select the checkbox to confirm I'm not a robot.

  6. Select Save.

    Select Save in the bottom-right corner

Now that you've got your payment gateway set up, you can create a membership plan. If you'd like, you can also add a buy button or a Memberships widget to your pages, which customers can use to sign up for your membership plan.
