Bold has launched Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using Time-Based One-Time Passwords (TOTP) for your Bold Account Center accounts. This addition strengthens the security of your account.
If you have an existing Bold account, you will be prompted to set up MFA on your next login. This requires that you use an authenticator app to access your account.
Some examples of authenticator apps you can use are as follows:
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator

To enable MFA on your existing Bold account, please follow the steps below.
- Log into Bold Account Center.
- Scan the QR code in an authentication app. If your authentication app does not use QR codes, then click Authentication Secret Code to view a code you can use.
Note: You may be required to verify your email address. If so, you must click Verify from within your email to be redirected to this page. If your session has expired, or if you are having any trouble loading the page, you can log out, then log back in.
- Click Continue.
- Enter the authentication code and click Continue.
