Bold Upsell offers a guided setup checklist to help you quickly activate Upsell on your store. This flow helps you install Upsell to your theme and set up your first Upsell offer.

To activate Upsell on your store, complete the setup checklist as outlined in this article.

 

 

Walkthrough

 

 

General setup

Once Upsell is downloaded to your store and the terms and conditions accepted, you are automatically directed to the onboarding flow. Use the instructions below as an additional resource when going through the setup checklist.

 

Step 1: Select a theme

  1. To choose a theme to install Upsell on, click Select Theme.

  2. Expand the drop-down menu and select your preferred theme.

  3. Click Confirm.

 

Step 2: Install Upsell on a theme

  1. To install Upsell, click Set up.

    Note: This directs you to your theme customizer in a new tab, and enables the Upsell Model Settings app block automatically.

  2. Click Save in the top right-hand corner.
  3. Close the tab and return to the setup checklist.

 

Step 3: Set up your first offer

Now you can unlock your sales potential, and create your first Upsell!

  1. Click Setup.

  2. Choose from the following two methods to set up your first Upsell offer:
  • Smart Offers - Smart Offers creates offers automatically using A.I and 60 days of historical data on your store. To use this method, click Setup Smart Offer, and visit Smart Offers for step-by-step instructions. 
  • Manual Offers - This method allows you to manually create any type of offer you want. To use this method, click Alternatively, use Manual Upsell Offers (power user). For detailed instructions on setting up a specific type of offer, please visit Offers, and select the type of offer you'd like to create.
