Edit, Deactivate, Delete, or Re-sync a Subscription Group

Once a subscription group is created, it's automatically active on your storefront. Customers are able to start purchasing subscriptions immediately. If you no longer want to offer your products for subscription, you can deactivate the subscription group.

You can also edit your subscription group to add additional products, frequencies, or purchase options while the group is active or inactive. If you are experiencing display issues with your subscription widget, you can re-sync the group by turning it off and then back on.

The article shows you how to edit, deactivate, delete, and re-sync a subscription group, and outlines some important considerations before making changes.

Important considerations

Editing or deactivating a subscription group does not affect the recurring orders for your existing subscribers. Existing subscription orders will continue to generate with the same options the customer originally signed up for.

Making changes to an existing subscription group only updates the options that are available in your storefront subscription widget for new customers to purchase going forward.

If you would like to cancel, pause, or change an existing subscriber's order, please visit Subscription Management: Merchant Perspective.
