I am Unable to Swap a Product in an Existing Subscription

There are a few reasons why you may not be able to swap a product for your customer. These are as follows:

  • There are no other products in the subscription group. You can only swap between products that belong to the same subscription group. If the product in your customer's subscription belongs to a subscription group by itself, there will be no other products to swap with. In this case, you can change the product's subscription group to the one that contains the product they want to swap with.   • The customer is using a currency that is different from the stores default currency. Swapping is allowed only when customers are using the same currency as the store's default currency.
  • The subscription contains a product-specific discount code. These types of discounts must be removed before a swap can be performed otherwise an error will be displayed. It can be reapplied after.
