How can I set up a one-month free trial for my subscription service, where customers are billed the full price starting from the second month?
You can use dynamic discounts in the subscription group settings to offer a free trial on the first month only. Follow these steps:
- In Bold Subscriptions, navigate to Subscription groups, and click create a new subscription group or edit an existing one.
- Configure your group as needed.
- In the subscription discounts section, toggle on the setting that says “Offer a discount for subscribing".
- Enter a 100% discount for subscribing.
- Under Dynamic discounts, check the box next to “Change discount after specific number of orders.”
- Configure the settings so that after the 1st order the discount switches to 0% off.
- Click “Save changes”.
