I am seeing verification email notification errors, how can I resolve this?
If you are seeing an error that says: Email address unverified - all customer emails will be sent from no-reply@boldapps.net, this means that your customer facing "From Email" and merchant facing "Incoming Notification Email" have not yet been verified.
To verify your email addresses for these notifications, use the following steps:
- In Bold Memberships, navigate to Settings, and click on the "Email Settings" tab.
- Enter your preferred email address in the "From Email" field.
- Click "Send verification email".
- In your email, open the "Bold Memberships - Email Verification" email sent from Bold, and click "Confirm email".
- Navigate back to Bold Memberships, and enter your preferred email address in the "Incoming Notifications Email" field.
- Click "Send verification email".
- In your email, open the "Bold Memberships - Email Verification" email sent from Bold, and click "Confirm email".
Please note that Google and Yahoo also require valid email authentication. If you are using a free email provider like Gmail or Yahoo, it's best to use Memberships' default email (no-reply@boldapps.net) for your "From Email" to ensure your customers continue to receive these important notifications. If you are using a branded domain email address, you will need to take further steps to authenticate your email address to meet Google and Yahoo requirements.
