Why isn't my Manage Subscriptions page working?

Customers are reporting that the Manage Subscriptions page / customer portal is not working.

There are a few reasons your manage subscription page may not be accessible to your customers. Some of these are as follows:

  • The customer portal page is missing - Check that the page exists in your store. It should be titled Manage Subscriptions and have the following code present in the HTML side: 

    <div id="customer-portal-root"></div>

  • The link in your navigation menu or text is pointing to the wrong page - Check that the link points to the page titled Manage Subscriptions.

  • Shopify customer accounts are disabled or hidden - Please ensure the Shopify login link is accessible on your store.
  • The customer has not yet created an account on your store - If your customer has not yet created an account they won't be able to log in and access the customer portal. You can send an account invite from their customer profile in Shopify.
