Set up Bold Checkout

Overview

Bold Checkout offers many different options for how its checkout process looks and feels.

To adjust the checkout process, please follow these steps:

  1. From BigCommerce's admin, select Apps.

    Select Apps

  2. Select Bold Checkout.

  3. Select Settings, then General Settings.

    Note: In the top right corner of this screen you may see a red notification bell. It's not a concern when you are still setting up your checkout, but you can not enable Bold Checkout until these issues are resolved.

  4. Under "Checkout Process", choose your settings:
    1. Choose to toggle a customer account invitation.

    2. Decide how the order will be marked.

    3. Select what information is required from the customer to check out.

    4. Select Delay Payment Capture (optional).

    5. Adjust your email & marketing email settings (optional).

    6. Set your default shipping option.

  5. Select Save.
