Bulk Import Prices with Quantity Breaks into Custom Pricing

This feature requires the premium version of Custom Pricing with the Quantity Breaks module. Visit Change Your Price Plan in Custom Pricing for more information on how to enable these modules.

Custom Pricing provides you with the flexibility of bulk importing your wholesale and quantity discounts through a spreadsheet file. Uploading this file bypasses having to set up the pricing discounts from within the app's admin.

Using the Shopify product export feature (links to Shopify) and a spreadsheet editing program (ie Excel, Google Sheets, etc.), you're able to set specific discounts for each of your price tiers and quantity breaks.

To import wholesale prices that have associated quantity breaks into Custom Pricing, please follow these steps:

  • Before you begin, ensure that all store products have a SKU entered.
  • All products that have an associated quantity break need a "QTY" field in your import sheet with the break ranges specified.
  • You will need to be on the premium Custom Pricing plan with Quantity Breaks ($79.99/month) for this import to work correctly.

Next Steps:

  • Your wholesale product pricing tiers should be verified to ensure that your customers are receiving the correct discount when they log into their account. Visit Verify Your Custom Pricing Install (Steps 6-10) for more information on how to verify your price discounts. Please note that the related tags and customer accounts should be used instead of our Bold test account when verifying your wholesale prices.
