Klaviyo & Cashier Integration


Bold Cashier is integrated with Klaviyo to offer more flexibility with your abandoned cart emails. Klaviyo is a powerful email marketing tool that can send e-mail messages to your customers based on specific criteria.

To set up this integration, please follow these steps:

  1. From Shopify's admin, select Apps.

  2. Select Bold Cashier.

  3. Select Marketplace.

  4. Select Install on the "Merchant Scripts" option.

  5. Select Allow.

  6. Navigate to Klaviyo's website.
  7. Enter your information to create an account.

  8. Select Get Started.

  9. Enter your website address.

  10. Select a business category.

  11. Select Shopify.

  12. Select Continue.

  13. Select Skip this step.

    Note: Our integration does not require you to connect your Klaviyo account to Shopify. You can always connect the two platforms at a later time.

  14. Select Continue without connecting.

  16. Enter your mailing address and select Continue.

  17. Select or upload your logo image and select Continue.

  18. Select your brand colours and font style, then select Continue.

  19. Enter your header and social media links.

  20. Select Let's Go.

  21. Select the account icon in the top right corner.

  23. Select Settings, then API Keys.

  24. Copy and paste your public API key into a notepad or similar software.

  25. Navigate back to Cashier's admin and select Marketplace.

  26. Select Configure on the "Merchant Scripts" option.

  27. Copy and paste the following code into the "Cashier Startup Script": cashier_startup.html

  28. Replace "*YOUR COMPANY ID*" with your copied API key.

    Note: Make sure there is no space between the equal sign and your API key.

  29. Enable the Embed startup script option.

  30. Copy and paste the following code into the "Order Completed Script": cashier_klaviyo_order_complete.html

  31. Replace "*YOUR COMPANY ID*" with your copied API key.

    Note: Make sure there is no space between the equal sign and your API key.

  32. Enable the Embed order complete script option.

  33. Select Save.

  34. Add a Resume Cart Button to Klaviyo's Abandoned Cart Emails.
  35. Place a Test Order with Cashier.

That's it! After placing a test order, the "Started Checkout" and "Order Completed" metrics should be created in Klaviyo. Visit Create a Flow and Metrics & Reporting (links to Klaviyo) for more information on how to set up email flows with Klaviyo.
