Enable Customer Pricing in Custom Pricing



Custom Pricing offers two main functionalities: wholesale pricing (Customer Pricing) and quantity-based pricing (Quantity Breaks).

Wholesale pricing allows you to offer different discount amounts to various customers; or groups of customers. Ex: "Bronze" customers receive 5% off, "Silver" customers receive 10%, etc.

Quantity-based pricing lets you provide discounts based on how many of a particular product, or products, your customers purchase. Ex: Buy 5 and get 5% off, buy 10 and get 10% off, etc.

Together, these two modules can allow you to offer quantity-based discounts to your wholesale customers.

Note: You can also turn off the Quantity Breaks module and use Customer Pricing exclusively.

To enable the Customer Pricing module(s) on your store, please follow these steps:

  1. From Shopify's admin, select Apps.

    Select the Apps option on the left side of your Shopify admin

  2. Select Bold Custom Pricing (Wholesale & Quantity Breaks).

  3. Select Settings, then Account Plans.

  4. Hover over the "Customer Pricing" section and select Turn On.

  5. Select Update Plan.

    Note: Monthly charges may vary based on the number of modules enabled.

  6. Select Approve charges.

  7. Select Accept on the "Terms of Service" page.

    Note: Repeat Steps 4 - 7 to enable Customer Pricing Premium.

  8. Select one of the following installation options:

    Note: You can skip the installation steps if you've already installed Custom Pricing's Liquid code.

    • Expert Install: This creates a ticket request with our installs team. All of these requests are completed manually on a rotational basis. You will be asked to confirm which theme you would like the code to be installed on after selecting this option.

      Note: The turnaround time for install requests performed by our team is 2-4 business days.

      Select the Request Expert Install option on the bottom left side of the screen

    • Automatic Install: This will trigger our robotic installer to perform an automatic installation. You will be asked to confirm which theme you would like the code to be installed on after selecting this option.

      Note: You're able to revert the installation in the off chance that our robo-installer is not able to install correctly on your selected theme. Selecting this option will roll your theme back to its previous state. An installation request will also be created for our team to complete manually.

      Select the Start Automatic Install option in the bottom middle portion of the screen

    • Manual Install: This option will redirect you to our Custom Pricing Install Instructions and have you perform a manual installation.

      Note: This option is only recommended if you have a strong knowledge of Liquid coding.

      Select the View Installation Instructions option on the bottom right side of the screen
