Assign a Customer Their Payment Terms

Bold Net Terms gives you the flexibility to assign different payment terms to each of your customers. The payment terms allow you to extend or shrink the period of time a customer has to pay back their layaway orders.

Note: You need to have a set of payment terms created in order to assign them to a customer. Visit Create Your Payment Terms for more information on how to do this.

To assign a customer their payment terms, please follow these steps:

  1. From Shopify's admin, select Apps.

    Select Apps

  2. Select Bold Net Terms.

  3. Select Customers.

    Select Customers

  4. Select Edit Customer beside the customer you want to assign payment terms.

    Note: You can search for a specific customer using the search bar and filters.

  5. Select Payment Info.

  6. Under "Payment Terms", select the payment terms.

    Note: You're also able to attach a credit card to your customer's account using the "Credit Card Information" button.

  7. Enter a Credit Limit.

    Note: This is how much money your customer is able to place on their account before requiring a payment from them.

  8. Select the account's currency.

  9. Select Save Changes.
