Cashier & Multi-Currency Integration

When Multi-Currency is integrated with Bold Cashier, the two are able to provide your customers the flexibility to pay in the currency of their choice.

Multi-Currency can display any currency on your storefront; the only limitation is which currencies your payment gateway(s) can accept.

The payment gateway for your desired currency must be set up within Cashier before continuing with this guide. Multi-Currency is not able to map currency payments to a specific gateway unless it's enabled in Cashier first.

 Caution

As of February 19th, 2021, Bold Multi-Currency is no longer available to install on the Shopify App Store. If your store has installed our Bold Multi-Currency app prior to February 19, 2021 - you will be able to continue using this app as it is grandfathered on your store.

Yes, you can achieve this by setting up a Braintree / PayPal account. You will need to create 1 sub-account for each currency you want to accept, then connect these sub-accounts to Cashier before you can select them within Multi-Currency.

 Example

If you sell in CAD, USD, AUD, and JPY, you will need to set up 1 sub-account for each currency: CAD, USD, AUD, and JPY. You will have 4 sub-accounts in total.

The Braintree / PayPal integration can only accept approximately 25 currencies.

Please visit Using Braintree with Multi-Currency for more information.
