As of February 19th, 2021, Bold Multi-Currency is no longer available to install on the Shopify App Store. If your store has installed our Bold Multi-Currency app prior to February 19, 2021 - you will be able to continue using this app as it is grandfathered on your store.
When Multi-Currency is integrated with Bold Cashier, the two are able to provide your customers the flexibility to pay in the currency of their choice.
Multi-Currency can display any currency on your storefront; the only limitation is which currencies your payment gateway(s) can accept.
The payment gateway for your desired currency must be set up within Cashier before continuing with this guide. Multi-Currency is not able to map currency payments to a specific gateway unless it's enabled in Cashier first.
Multi-Currency is a display-only app for currencies on your storefront, and does not have the ability to convert currencies in Shopify's checkout by itself. If you have a grandfathered plan for Bold Cashier and Bold Multi-Currency installed on your store, you can offer currency conversions on the checkout page.
Integrating Multi-Currency & Cashier
- From the Shopify admin, select Apps.

- Navigate back to the Apps section of your Shopify admin and select Multi-Currency.
- Select the gear icon next to the currency you want to accept on the storefront.
- Select the Specify a payment gateway for this currency dropdown and choose the payment gateway that can accept this currency.
You can connect and use as many payment gateways as you want. Once connected, you can then map your different gateways to multiple currencies.
