Bold Subscriptions V1 offers the ability for your customers to make their payments directly through our app. This means that a supported payment gateway will have to be linked in order to set this up for your customers. With adjustable cart modes, you are able to define how your customers reach the checkout page on your store when making a subscriptions purchase. They are able to be taken directly to the checkout page, or be able to continue shopping after adding items to their cart.
Our most popular methods are Single, or Multiple Products cart modes.

Bold Subscriptions V1 comes with its own built-in recurring orders checkout. Having your orders process through this alternate checkout will ensure that your customers credit card data for future re-billing is saved.
The Shopify checkout is unable to process subscription orders and recurring billing at this time. If you notice that your subscription products are going through the Shopify checkout, please notify our Merchant Success team.
All payment gateways that are used within the built-in recurring orders checkout are Security and PCI Compliant.
Your new checkout can customized by Configuring the Language Settings of the checkout, or by adding CSS to add your own style to the Subscriptions checkout.
Live Processing for Subscription Orders
Each payment will have to go through the recurring orders checkout to ensure that the subscription is completed. These payments will have to be created live in order to track the correct customer information.
At this time, Bold Subscriptions V1 is unable to detect any offline orders. This includes Draft, or cash on deliver (COD) payments. Because our app uses a third party payment gateway to process its order, the gateway needs confirmation that the customer has paid for it to process the order.
Currently, Bold Subscriptions V1 will only work with the Shopify "Online Store" sales channel. Shopify's Point-of-Sale system is also not supported, as it is unable to connect to the Subscriptions checkout.
We also recommended placing a Test Order for Bold Subscriptions V1 in order to see how to your customers will navigate through your store and checkout. Test orders can be completed before attaching a Payment Gateway to the app, and ensures that everything is displaying properly for your customers.
The Subscriptions' Buy Button is a feature used to send your customers directly to the recurring orders checkout with a single subscription product set to a pre-selected frequency.
By creating this button, you can sell your subscription products on external websites such as WordPress, Squarespace, blogs, or your social media accounts!
This button can also be used to create unique marketing content such as promotion emails to focus on your subscription product.
