With Bold Subscriptions' adjustable cart modes, you can define how your customers reach the checkout page on your store. They can either be taken directly to the checkout, or be able to continue shopping after adding an item / items to their cart.
The most popular cart modes are single product and multiple product cart modes.

Bold Subscriptions V1 comes with its own built-in checkout called the recurring checkout.
Having your orders process through this alternate checkout ensures that your customer's credit card data is saved for future recurring purchases. All payment gateways that are used with Bold's recurring checkout are security and PCI compliant.
The Shopify checkout is not capable of processing Bold's subscription orders. Please notify our Customer Success team if you are receiving subscription orders made through the Shopify checkout.
The recurring checkout can be customized by configuring its language settings, or by adding custom CSS code.
Every one of your customer's subscription payments needs to be processed through the recurring checkout to ensure that their recurring charge is created properly. These payments need to be created live in order to track the correct customer information.
Because our app uses a third party payment gateway, the payment gateway needs confirmation that the customer has paid in order for it to process the order.
Bold Subscriptions V1 only works with the Shopify Online Store sales channel. The app doesn't support the use of Shopify's point-of-sale system, nor is it able to detect draft orders or cash on delivery (COD) payments.
We recommend placing a test order to see how your customers will navigate through your store and checkout. Test orders can be completed before attaching a payment gateway and ensures that everything is displaying properly to your customers.
Buy Buttons are a feature of Bold Subscriptions V1 that are used to send your customers directly to the recurring orders checkout with a single subscription product that's set to a pre-selected frequency.
With Buy Buttons, you can sell your subscription products on external websites such as WordPress, Squarespace, blogs, and even your social media accounts.
These buttons can also be used to create unique marketing content, like promotional emails, to focus on your subscription product.
