Configure the Language Settings in Bold Subscriptions V1

Bold Subscriptions V1 allows you to change the language of almost all of the app's major features and pages.

Because the app's default language is English, you have the freedom to make any adjustments you see fit if you need a different language. All changes made to the app's language can be found in the Bold Subscriptions app admin under Settings > Language Settings. 

At this time, Bold Subscriptions V1 is only able to operate in one language. You may otherwise use a third party translation app, but it is at your own discretion.

If your store uses a third party app for translating, then this information should be automatically adjusted on your store. If you notice anything that is not translating properly from within our app, please reach out to our Customer Success Team for further review.

The Widget Tab allows you to adjust the language that appears on your subscription widget.

Auto Replenish Product Changes the product page widget title when your Cart Mode is set to Single Product or Multiple Products.
Auto Replenish Cart Changes the cart page widget title when your Cart Mode is set to Recurring Cart.
One-time purchase [one-time-price]

Changes the one-time purchase option text.

Subscribe

Changes the subscribe option text.

If you offer intervals, you can change this text.

Complete Subscription

Replaces the Add to Cart button.

Displays when using the Single Product cart mode or when customers are purchasing a prepaid subscription.

Deliver Every

If you offer intervals, you can change this wording.

Sunday / Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday / Saturday

If you offer daily intervals, you can change this text.

Daily options will appear in a dropdown menu if the interval is set to weekly and you offer each day as an option.

Choose first order date

Changes the text.

Billing Plan Selection

If you offer weekly intervals, you can change this text.

[billing_day] is the day that your subscriptions have (Monday thru Friday).

These options are dependent on your subscription model / settings and goes through every scenario that would display your settings.

Discount Switch Initial. Merge fields available [discount_price] and [num_orders].

If you Offer different discounts on initial and recurring orders, you can change this text.

You can offer different discounts on both the initial and recurring order.

IE. "Save 50% on your first 5 orders, and 25% on all remaining orders"

Discount Switch Initial (Single Order). Merge fields available: [discount_price], [amount_discounted] and [discount_percentage].

If you Offer different discounts on initial and recurring orders, you can change this text.

You can offer different discounts on both the initial and recurring order.

IE. "Save 35% on your first order, and 15% on all remaining orders"

Discount Switch Recurring. Merge fields available: [discount_price], [amount_discounted] and [discount_percentage].

If you Offer different discounts on initial and recurring orders and your discounts are more than 0%, you can change this text.

This targets the second half of the discount text.

IE. the text for only "and 15% on all remaining orders"

Ongoing

If you use limited subscription lengths and have Added an ongoing option, you can change this text.

and save [discount_percentage] ([discount_price]) on all remaining orders after the first [num_orders] orders.

If you offer a 0% discount that converts into a different discount on the recurring order, you can change this text.

IE. "Subscribe and save 20% ($19.99) on all remaining orders after the first 4 orders"

and save [discount_percentage] ([discount_price]) on all remaining orders after the first order.

If you offer a discount that's only applicable to the recurring orders and not the initial order, you can adjust this text.

IE. "Subscribe and save 20% (19.99) on all remaining orders after the first order"

One-time purchase Convertible [one_time_price]

If you offer one-time purchases with your convertible subscriptions, you can change this text.

Convertible Subscription Discounts

Feature Description
Discount for convertible subscription with a discount on first order only. Additional merge fields: [initial_discount_amount] and [initial_discount_price]

If you offer a discount that's only applicable to the initial order, you can change this text.

Discount for convertible subscription after first order. Additional merge fields: [recurring_discount_price] and [recurring_discount_amount]

If you have a discount that applies to both the initial and recurring order, you can change this text.

Purchase with subscription and save [initial_discount_percentage] on the first order and [recurring_discount_percentage] on all orders

If you offer a discount that's only applicable to the recurring order, you can adjust this text.

No discount on convertible subscription.

If you do not offer any discounts, you can adjust this text.

Accounts required error message (convertible widget only)

If your Shopify store has customer accounts set to Accounts Required and your customer is not logged in, you can adjust this text.

Select Choices

If you offer build-a-box subscriptions, you can change this text.

Order will ship every:

Changes the text that displays before the order frequency notification.

IE. "Order will ship every: 3 Month(s)"

Changes the See Details text.

This text appears underneath the subscriptions widget.

Subscription Length (# of shipments):

If you offer limited subscription lengths, you can change this text.

This text can be found when creating / editing a subscription group under How long would you like subscriptions to last?

Prepay for your subscription

If you Allow customers to prepay for subscriptions, you can change this text.

This item ships today and [next_ship_date_Ymd] [next_ship_date_mdY] then every [interval] [interval_type_text] from then on.

If you offer build-a-box subscriptions, you can change this text.

This text appears as a tooltip in the subscription widget, below the option to select an interval.

Shipping schedule widget text. Available merge fields are: [next_ship'-date_Ymd] [next_ship_date_mdY] [interval].

If you enable the Shipping schedule in the Display Settings, you can change this text.

This displays the subscription schedule to your customers when they hover over the Shipping Schedule.

This section goes over the placeholders and display text within the recurring checkout as well as how to create your own terms and conditions.

Feature Description

Changes the fine print at the bottom of the recurring checkout.

You may adjust this to display or explain a policy.

Accept our [terms_and_conditions]

Changes the terms and conditions text.

This will create a link that takes your customers directly to the terms and conditions.

Pickup Information

Changes the pickup information text.

This is specifically for our integration with Zapiet and displays in the recurring checkout when a customer selects store pickup.

Shipping not required

Changes the shipping text.

This displays in the recurring checkout when you're using Shopify shipping rates alongside physical products.

 


 

Terms & Conditions Setup

  1. From the Shopify admin, select Apps.
  2. Select Bold Subscriptions V1.
  3. Select Settings, then General.
  4. Scroll down to Terms and Conditions.
  5. Select the Enable radio button.
  6. Under Terms and Conditions URL, enter your URL.
  7. Select Save.
  8. Select Settings, then Language Settings.
  9. Select the Checkout tab.
  10. Under Accept our "[terms_and_conditions], make requires changes if any.
    This text displays in the checkout as shown:

  11. Under Terms and Conditions, make required changes if any. This will adjust the link.
  12. Under Terms and Conditions are required, make required changes if any. This will adjust the error message your customers see when this hasn't been accepted.
  13. Select Save.

 


 

The Add to Existing subscription option appears on the product page when your customer is signed in with an existing active subscription. They will be prompted to add the item they are viewing.
