With Bold Subscriptions, the transaction fee is charged differently depending on which payment gateway is currently set up in Bold Checkout. This 1% fee will only be applied to orders that go through the Bold Checkout.
If you are using Stripe, the 1% transaction fee that Bold Checkout charges will be taken off your revenue deposited in your bank account. This means the revenue you receive every month is after all the fees have been removed.
Braintree along with all other supported payment gateways, require a credit card to be set up with the account in order to pay for the transaction fees. These fees are charged after your store's revenue has been deposited into your account, which usually occurs on a weekly basis.
If you are looking to update your credit card attached to the payment gateway, please follow these steps:
- From BigCommerce's Admin, select My Apps.
- Select Bold Checkout.
- Select Payment Options, then Payment Gateways.
- Select the ellipsis beside your Stripe account.
- Select Edit Credentials.
- Enter your credit card details.
- Select Update.
You should now see your updated credit card information.
