This article outlines how to create shipping zones in Bold Cashier.
In Bold Cashier, the address that your products are shipped from is the Warehouse Address, and this location is used to calculate shipping and tax information for your customers. For each country that your store currently ships to, you will need a warehouse zone in order for shipping rates to appear within the checkout.
it is important to note that the warehouse zone has an origin location of one specific address, but it can be used for multiple countries to calculate shipping. Multiple warehouse zones can be added to calculate taxes and shipping from specific locations.
For more information on the different types of shipping rates you can offer your customers, please visit Shipping Overview with Bold Cashier.

Bold Cashier's shipping zones determine where your customers can order to, how much their shipping will cost, and what types of shipping your store offers. Shipping zones can have carrier-calculated rates, price-based rates, and weight-based rates.
For more information on the differences between these options, please visit Shipping Rates in Bold Cashier.
Setup
- From within Cashier's admin, select Shipping, then Shipping Zones.
- Select Create Zone.
- Enter a Zone name, then select the country or countries that this zone will apply to.
- Set up the type of rates you would like to offer.
- Select Save.
Bold Cashier allows you to make edits to your current shipping zones. If, for example, you raise your product's prices and your shipping rates are determined by price, you will want to change the shipping price range(s) to reflect that.
Steps
- From within Cashier's admin, select Shipping, then Shipping Zones.
- Select Edit beside the zone you want to edit.
- Adjust your shipping zone settings accordingly.
- Select Save.
Shipping rates are, by default, imported from Shopify. To modify the shipping information within Bold Cashier, warehouse zones will have to be created.
When creating warehouse zones, all Countries, States, and Provinces must be included to ensure that they will be allowed to ship within the checkout. If the locations are not added, Cashier will not be able to generate a shipping rate for your customer's order.
Pro-Tip
Stores that want to charge taxes within Canada and the United States will have to have a separate warehouse zone for each State / Province. Alternatively, these could also be manually created as custom tax rates within Cashier. For more information, please visit Tax Settings in Cashier.
