Create Shipping Zones in Bold Cashier


Within Bold Cashier, the address that your products are shipped from is the "Warehouse Address". This location is used to calculate shipping and tax information for your customers. For each country that your store currently ships to, you will need a Warehouse Zone, in order for shipping rates to appear within the checkout.

Note: The warehouse zone has an origin location of one specific address, but it can be used for multiple countries to calculate shipping.

Please know that multiple warehouse zones can be added to calculate taxes and shipping from specific locations.

To get started with setting up your Shipping Zones in Bold Cashier, please see the following steps:



Import your Shopify Shipping Rates

By default, shipping rates are imported from Shopify. To modify this information, please follow these steps:

  1. From Shopify's admin, select Apps.
  2. Select Bold Cashier.
  3. Select Settings, then Warehouse Settings.
  4. Select Edit.
  5. Under "Warehouse", modify the address as needed.
  6. Adjust the zone name, choose the countries these warehouse settings apply to and select Save.



Shipping Zones

Bold Cashier's shipping zones will determine where your customers can order to, how much their shipping will cost, and what types of shipping your store offers.

Shipping zones can have Carrier calculated rates, price-based rates, and weight-based rates. For more information on the differences between these options, please visit our Shipping Overview for Bold Cashier.



Create a Shipping Zone

To create a shipping zone in Bold Cashier, please follow these steps:

  1. From within Cashier's admin, select Shipping, then Shipping Zones.
  2. Select Create Zone.
  3. Enter a Zone name, then select the country or countries that this zone will apply to.
  4. Set up the type of rates you would like to offer.
  5. Select Save.



Edit a Shipping Zone

Bold Cashier allows you to make edits to your current shipping zones. If, for example, you put the price of your products in your store up and your shipping rates are determined by price, you may want to change the shipping prices ranges to reflect that. 

To edit your existing shipping zones, please follow these steps:

  1. From within Cashier's admin, select Shipping, then Shipping Zones.
  2. Select Edit beside the zone you want to edit.
  3. Adjust your shipping zone settings accordingly.
  4. Select Save.
