Alert: Changing your store's default currency can cause issues with transaction fees. If you would like to change your store's default currency, please reach out to our Customer Success team so we can help align with this adjustment.
Transaction fees by plan
Transaction fees are applicable to all purchases that include a recurring order item. This means that the transaction fee applies to the full order, even if it includes a one-time purchase, as long as a subscription product is included in the transaction.
Transaction fees are charged for each plan differently as shown in the table below.

Bold Subscriptions offers a 30-day free trial to all stores installing for the first time. During this period you are not billed for the monthly fee, however, transaction fees are still applicable for the paid plans.

Billing
Each month when you receive your monthly invoice from Shopify, you are billed for the monthly cost of the app along with any additional charges for transaction fees. Transaction fees are listed on your Shopify bill as Usage fees.
