Bold Checkout allows you to create and offer discount codes to your customers.
Discount codes made in Bold Checkout allow you to set specific conditions and requirements for your customers, including the prevention of customers using multiple codes at once.

When Bold Checkout is enabled, customers will be directed through the cashier.boldcommerce.com checkout when making their purchase(s).
Before enabling Bold Checkout, it's equally as important to ensure you've enabled your discount code(s) as well. Using the Discounts Enabled toggle allows you to enable or disable all of your discount codes at once.
Caution
Discount codes with a future start date cannot be enabled until the start date has been met.
- From within the Bold Checkout admin, select Payment Options, then Discount Codes.
- Select Create a Discount.
- Under Step 1, enter an internal discount name.
Note: The internal name is not public facing. The internal name is used to help you identify the discount code between others created in Bold Checkout.
- Under Step 2, either enter a discount code or generate a discount code key.
- Under Step 3, select a discount type and if applicable, enter a discount amount.
- Under Step 4, select a discount code condition (optional):
- Use limit for discount code: Enabling this condition allows you to set a limit for the amount of times that the discount code can be used in the checkout page in total.
- Use limit per customer: This condition allows you to restrict how many times the discount code can be used per customer on your store.
- Date Range: A date range can be used to set when the discount code is enabled and disabled on your store.
- Select Save.
- From within the Bold Checkout admin, select Payment Options, then Discount Codes.
- Select the ellipsis next to the discount code you would like to delete.
- Select Delete, then OK.
- From within the Bold Checkout admin, select Payment Options, then Discount Codes.
- Select the ellipsis next to the discount code you would like to edit or view.
- Select View / Edit.
- Adjust the discount code accordingly and select Save.
