While using Bold Checkout, you may need to manage your store operations in different ways. Most of your store operations can be managed within Bold Checkout, however, there will be some operations that will need to be managed outside of the app admin.
Orders can be viewed and managed through WooCommerce and Bold Checkout.
We recommend that you perform your order management through WooCommerce, especially if you use any automated fulfillment services. You can find this through the WooCommerce Admin Dashboard under Orders, while in Bold Checkout you can find this under Orders > All Orders.
Please visit Reports & Analytics in Bold Checkout for more information.
Because orders processed through Bold Checkout are being processed through a different checkout, refunds must also be processed through the Bold Checkout app under Orders > All Orders.
Refunds for orders processed in Bold Checkout, when done through WooCommerce, will not be successfully refunded.
Please visit Refund an Order in Bold Checkout for more information.
Shipping zones determine which counties, provinces, and states your store's able to ship to.
With Bold Checkout, you can create as many shipping zones as you need - there's currently no limit to the number of zones you can create, but shipping zones must be created within the Bold Checkout admin in order to be used in the checkout.
Taxes must also be setup within the Bold Checkout admin in order to be applied to your customer's orders.
Please visit Integration Hub for Bold Checkout for more information on the integrations that are supported with Bold Checkout.
Please visit Create Shipping Zones in Bold Checkout for more information on creating shipping zones within Bold Checkout.
Because Bold checkout uses an independent checkout process to charge your customers for their orders, all discount codes you wish to offer must also be created within Bold Checkout under Payment options > Discount codes.
Please visit Discount Codes Overview & Setup in Bold Checkout for more information.
A customer will be created in WooCommerce whenever a customer places an order through the Bold Checkout.
Your customer's payment credentials will be stored and encrypted in Bold Checkout. You can manage these credentials from within Bold Checkout under Customers.
Please visit Using & Managing Customer Accounts with Bold Checkout for more information.
Because Bold Checkout uses its own checkout to process your customer's orders, the app has its own section for managing orders, abandoned carts, and more.
When a customer reaches the Bold checkout, adds a name or email address and then closes the checkout, the customer's abandoned checkout will be recorded in Bold Checkout under Orders > Abandoned carts. Other email notifications, including Order Confirmations, are handled through WooCommerce.
You can also integrate Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel with Bold Checkout to track your customer's purchase path.
