Create & Connect a Bold Account

In order to install and manage any of Bold's apps for WooCommerce, a Bold account will need to be created within our Account Center.

In order to access Account Center within WooCommerce/WordPress you will first need to install the Bold Plugin. If you do not have the Bold Plugin yet, you will need to navigate to the Bold Website, select Contact Sales, and fill out the contact form. The form will be sent over to our sales team to evaluate and reach back out to you.

Within this article, an Organization is a term that refers to your company's name.

 


 

  1. From your WordPress admin, select the Bold plugin.

  2. Select Get Started.

  3. Select Create an organization of your own.

  4. Enter your First Name, Last Name, Organization, Email and Password.
  5. Select Create Account.

  6. Enter your Platform and Store URL, then select Add store.

  7. Select Add under the Bold app that you would like to add to your platform.

If you run into any issues with the Bold Plugin, you can simply uninstall it. Please see Uninstall the Bold Plugin below for more information.

  1. Navigate to the Bold Account Login Page.
  2. Select Get Started.

  3. Select Create a new organization of your own.

  4. Enter your First Name, Last Name, Organization, Email and Password.
  5. Select Create account.

  6. Enter your Platform and Store URL, then select Add store.

  7. You will see all available Bold Apps for the platform you selected on this page. Select Add next to the app you would like to add to your store.
  8. Enter your WordPress credentials and select Log In.

  9. Select Connect to approve the connection between your store and the app.

If you run into any issues with the Bold Plugin, you can simply uninstall it. Please see Uninstall the Bold Plugin below for more information.

This feature is coming soon. Currently, you will need to manually reach out to the existing admin of the organization and request they send an invitation to join their store. Once the invitation is sent, an email will arrive to direct you on how to join the organization.

Accepting the Invitation

  1. To accept the invitation, select Join from within the email.

  2. From here, you will be directed to Join a new store. Fill out your email, name, choose a password, and select Join Now.

 Caution
  • If you are using Bold Checkout, please disable the Checkout within Bold Checkout first. 
  • If you are using Bold Subscriptions, please turn off all your Subscription groups before proceeding.
  1. Remove all Bold apps that are currently installed on your store.
  2. Deactivate the Bold Plugin.
  3. Select uninstall.
