Liquid code that has been added to your store's theme files for Bold will not automatically be removed when the app is uninstalled. This is due to a Shopify limitation that prevents these types of adjustments when the app is removed.
The Bold app code that was added on your theme will not cause any disruptions or errors on your store. If you are planning on installing another app with similar functionality, removing the Bold code will be required.
Removing the app code can be done manually, or completed by our installation expert team.
Pro-Tip
If you created a backup them on your store when first installing the Bold app code, you will not need to have the code removed. You can simply publish the backup version of your store's theme.
Core Apps
Within our Help Center, all of the apps have a manual installation guide. To manually remove the code from your theme, you could go through the specific app install instructions and remove the code found on your store.
Caution
Please complete manual code removals on a backup theme on your store. Manual code removals require knowledge of the Shopify liquid code.
