Transaction fees
With Bold Subscriptions, the 1% transaction fee is charged differently depending on which payment gateway is currently set up within Bold Checkout. This fee will only be applied to orders that go through Bold Checkout.
If you are using Stripe, the 1% transaction fees that Bold Checkout charges will be taken off your revenue deposited in your bank account. This means the revenue you receive every month is after all the fees have been removed.
Braintree (and all other supported payment gateways) require a credit card to be set up with the account in order to charge the transaction fees. These fees are charged after your store's revenue already has been deposited into your account, which usually occurs on a weekly basis.
If you are looking to update your credit card attached to the payment gateway, please follow these steps:
- From the Wordpress Admin, select Bold Commerce on your sidebar.
- Select Bold Checkout.
- Select Payment Options, then Payment Gateways.
- Select the ellipsis beside your Stripe account.
- Select Edit Credentials.
- Enter your credit card details.
- Select Update.
You should now see your updated credit card information.
