At this time, Bold Subscriptions and all of its included features is offered with a 1% transaction fee when orders go through the Bold Checkout. This transaction fee is only charged when orders go through the Bold Checkout on your store.

With Bold Subscriptions, the transaction fee is charged differently depending on which payment gateway is currently set up within the app. This 1% fee will only be applied to orders that go through the Bold Checkout of your store.
If you are using Stripe, the 1% transaction fees that Bold Checkout charges will be taken off your revenue deposited in your bank account. This means the revenue you receive every month is after all the fees have been removed.
When using Braintree (and all other supported payment gateways), Bold Subscriptions will require a credit card to be set up with the account in order to charge the transaction fees. These fees' will charge after your store's revenue already has been deposited into your account, and usually occurs on a weekly basis.
If you are looking to update your credit card attached to the payment gateway, please follow these steps:
- From the Account Center, select Bold Checkout.
- Select Payment Options, then Payment Gateways.
- Select the ellipsis beside your Stripe account.
- Select Edit Credentials.
- Enter your credit card details.
- Select Update.
You should now see your updated credit card information.
