How do I add discount tags to customers in Shopify to trigger a discount condition?

How can I add tags to customers in order to trigger a discount condition that I have set up?

To add discount tags to customers, log in to Shopify admin, navigate to Customers, select the desired customers, and then assign the tag in the tags section located at the bottom right.
