Why are QuickBooks Sync app exports failing with "books closed" errors, and how can I resolve this to export data?

The error indicates that the QuickBooks accounting period is closed, preventing updates via the QBO Services API. QuickBooks Sync does not control the accounting period closure; it only receives and reports the error. To resolve this, contact QuickBooks support to reopen the accounting period. Once the period is reopened, run another export within QuickBooks Sync.
