Node & rePete

rePete integrates with Node, a customer app that delivers reorder nudges directly to a shopper's device without requiring them to create an account or share a personal email address. This means two things:

  • Node-using customers can receive on-device rePete notifications through a secure, spam-free channel.

  • When a Node-using customer shows up on your site as a "guest," rePete can still recognize them to display the rePete widget.

Both are designed to give merchants a reliable way to reach more customers and drive repeat purchases.


How it works

When a customer who has Node installed completes a purchase on a store using rePete, rePete sends reorder nudge signals to Node. Node then delivers those nudges directly to the customer's device.

Customers receive nudges through Node using a secure Commerce Token instead of a personal email address. This keeps communications spam-free and phishing-resistant, and means customers are opted in to receive nudges by default.

No account creation or sign-up is required for customers to receive nudges through Node.


Important considerations

  • Node is a customer app. All merchant’s messages are delivered, organized, and verified directly on their customer’s device.

  • Customers must have Node installed to receive nudges through this channel. The thank you page app block is one way to encourage customers to download it.

  • rePete sends timing signals to Node. Node handles message delivery.
