Smart Cart
Smart Cart is a personalized, conversion-optimized checkout flow for customers returning through a rePete reorder nudge reminder. It streamlines the reordering process and surfaces relevant product recommendations to help increase Average Order Value and repeat revenue.
Smart Cart is available to all rePete users and uses your existing Shopify store data to deliver a consistent shopping experience.
Functionality
Smart Cart acts as a high-conversion bridge between a reorder reminder and the final purchase. When a customer clicks a rePete reorder link, they are directed to the Smart Cart experience.
Personalized recommendations
Smart Cart displays recommended products before directing customers to complete their purchase.
You can exclude specific products from being recommended from the rePete Settings page. For even more control over managing product recommendations, including how to add specific products, please visit the Shopify Help Center.

Checkout experience
Before checking out, customers are prompted to enable One Click Reorder before completing their purchase.
Example
If One Click Reorder is enabled, the customer’s payment information is saved securely. Customers can complete future reorders for that specific product without re-entering their payment information. Smart Cart gathers their selections and guides them to an order review page where they can place their order with a single click.
If One Click Reorder is not enabled, Smart Cart gathers their selections and then directs them to the Shopify checkout to enter payment information and complete the purchase.
Verification
Customers returning from an email or SMS nudge must verify their identity by entering a 6-digit verification code sent to their email address. This process is only required once. After successful verification, future reorders do not require code verification.
Important considerations
Smart Cart automatically inherits your Shopify theme styling to maintain a consistent brand experience.
Recommended products are shown only when inventory is available.
Setup
Smart Cart is enabled by default.
You can manage whether Smart Cart and One Click Reorder prompts are enabled or disabled from the rePete Settings page.
