One Click Reorder
One Click Reorder creates a faster, more seamless checkout experience for returning customers.
When enabled, a customer’s payment information is securely saved and a Shopify subscription contract is created in the background for the product. This allows customers to place future rePete reorders without re-entering their payment details.
rePete never generates orders without a customer’s explicit consent. The contract is only required to securely save the payment information and enable faster checkout when customers choose to reorder.
How customers get One Click Reorder
How customers get One Click Reorder depends on your rePete Settings and how customers place their order.
Smart Cart and One Click Reorder enabled: Customers can choose to enable One Click Reorder in Smart Cart when placing an order from a rePete reorder link.
Smart Cart disabled and One Click Reorder enabled: Customers automatically get One Click Reorder after they place their first order from a rePete reorder link.
rePete Buy Button and One Click Reorder enabled: Customers who purchase a product using the rePete Buy Button automatically get One Click Reorder for that product.
Requirements
To support One Click Reorder, your store must use a Shopify supported payment gateway for subscriptions, such as Shopify Payments, PayPal Express, Authorize.net, Adyen, or Stripe.

Important considerations
One Click Reorder is applied per product. Customers can only use One Click Reorder if it was enabled on a previous purchase for the product.
Because One Click Order uses a Shopify contract, Shopify displays subscription-related messaging across your storefront and checkout. Some of this language can be updated in the theme files to better match the rePete customer experience.
Updating subscription-related language
If you wish to update Shopify’s default subscription-related language to better match the rePete experience, you can customize the language fields in your default theme content.
Note: Some fields are editable for Shopify Plus stores only.
Language suggestions
The following table suggests some language updates you can make to help match customer expectations. These suggestions keep messaging clear for both rePete and subscriptions, if offered on your store.
This wording can be found in the Checkout & system section in your theme content editor. Keep in mind that this list is not exhaustive and the ability to edit specific language fields can vary according to your Shopify plan.
