rePete Discounts Overview
rePete allows you to create flexible, tiered discounts to reward and incentivize customers.
This article explains the functionality of rePete discounts and how your customers qualify.
Functionality
In rePete, discounts are created and managed using discount groups. Discount groups allow you to:
Set a discount percentage.
Configure tiered discounts that increase (or decrease) based on the customer’s order count.
Select the rePete products eligible for discount.
Tiered discounts
Tiered discounts allow you to incentivize reorders by offering increasingly better discounts. For example, you can offer a 10% discount for the first rePete order (order count 1), then increase it to 15% for the second order (order count 2) and more.
Tiered discounts apply based only on the individual number of reorders a customer placed (the order count), and not the quantity of products within a single order.
While all reorders are counted, discounts are only offered and applied on reorders placed through rePete channels.
Default discount
During the onboarding process, rePete allows you to set up a default discount. This appears as a Default Discount group in rePete. This discount applies to all rePete products that are not discounted by other groups.
You can edit the discount amount, add tiered discounts, or delete the Default Discount group entirely, however, you cannot edit the products that belong to it.
The discounts in any group you create will override the discounts in the Default Discount group.
