Why are paused subscribers still showing as active in the Bold Subscriptions app customer list?

Why are customers who have paused their subscriptions still showing as active subscribers in Bold Subscriptions?

Paused subscriptions are still considered active. Subscribers are only considered inactive once their subscriptions are cancelled.
