The Subscription Option is Not Appearing on the Storefront

The option to sign up for subscriptions is not appearing when we tried it as a customer.

If the Subscription Widget is not appearing on your product pages, please check the following common causes:

  • The product is not assigned to a subscription group. Ensure the specific product is included in an active subscription group.

  • The subscription group is inactive. Check your subscription group and confirm it is toggled ON.

  • The theme installation is incomplete. The Subscription Widget requires full installation on your theme. If you skipped steps or recently changed themes, please refer to the Manual Installation Guide for Subscriptions for Shopify Checkout to confirm proper setup.

  • An unsupported payment gateway / no payment gateway is connected. Subscription services require a supported payment method to function. Verify that your store is using one of the following gateways: Shopify Payments, PayPal Express, or Authorize.net.
